How often do goalies from different teams play on the same night?

Wondering if anyone has ever crunched the numbers or know of a way to figure out how often teams will play on the same night.

For example, if your league only allows you to start one goalie per day, are you better off to go with a handcuff of two goalies from a decent team, or to go with two starters from different teams. Which will maximize your number of starts.

I did do this exercise with two teams from the same conference and what I found was that roughly 55% of the time their games would fall on the same night.

Wondering if you guys know of a way to input any two teams so that you could determine which strategy is the better option.
