Makar vs Q. Hughes

Your 10th pick will be your only shot at Makar if he even gets to you. I’ve seen him getting ranked inside the top 100 players in some keeper rankings. I doubt Wheeler, Landy, etc. even gets to you. You can also cross off Hughes and Kakko, they will go before your pick as well.

Makar is for sure a good pick at 10th. He is an absolute stud and I believe he will be PP1 QB on a lethal PP by the end of the season. Downside is that he may only get you 40-45 points this season, but he will be someone’s keeper end of season and you will be kicking yourself for passing on him. On the flip side, his ceiling is pretty high this season as well and top 3-5 defenceman in a few years time. This is the ground floor.
