With Andersen as your G, and having 70% of your forwards in, and only 50% of your D in, with as you said, few great options available, I'd look to lock the best D possible.

From the list provided, I like Pulock's upside and contract the most.

I wouldn't touch with a 7th overall any of the middle of the pack guys. Let them wheel for later, and anyway, they're pretty much all worth the same for similar salaries.

I like Pulock a lot, but if you want a big name with upside for points despite the high cap hit, Giordano could be worth it. I don't think he can repeat, but he'll still man the PP1 in Calgary and it'll continue to provide a lot of points.

Maybe waiting later for Weber/Byfuglien could be a great fit
