Not sure how cap leagues work but 4 to 5 million seems cheap for Ehlers. Do they base the salaries off production from that year? I have no idea.
Guy in my league has made Ehlers available, he’s looking for “young controllable players, cap relief, and draft picks.”
Know he’s a buy low candidate but was wondering what the cost for him is right now?
League in sig. $58 million cap, Ehlers contract has expired so need to negotiate a new one, would guess he lands between 4 and 5 million.

If Panarin's value is 5.5M$ in your league, I would stray far from Ehlers if he falls over 4M$. Otherwise, maybe I'd take a look at him. His situation is not ideal in Winnipeg right now.
I picked 4-5 as a guess. He’s a 50 to 60 point player and only 23. I picked Panarin to show what elite wingers make and Huberdeau because he signed his contract after a 60+ season. He’d be great in the 3-4 range though.
I have 30th overall and a small pool of prospects, what is fair to offer or should I leave it? There’s potential I’m being blinded by being a jets fan.
This is hard to answer as we have no idea who your prospects are or how EXACTLY your salary cap works (negotiate contracts based on comparable contracts, I'm not really sure what that means. But there's no way I put Ehlers anywhere near Huberdeau or Panarin). You're talking about 80+ wingers on PP1, versus 60'ish point winger on PP2.
That said, 30 teams is a deep league. If you can move your spare parts for a young, 2nd line winger....I wouldn't hesitate to do that (as long as you don't even up with a terrible contract that puts you in cap trouble)
