    Default Grubs for Quick/Hoffman

I don't usually do this but I'm on the fence with this one, leaning towards a reject.

    My Grubauer for Quick/Hoffman

Would be dropping Zacha to make room, and my bench goalie is Raanta. It's a volume league so starts are the most important factor, followed by saves vs GA and wins. How much worse will Quick be, and is Hoffman worth the swap?

Is Raanta you're only other G?
I doubt much is available for G on the waiver wire in a 16tm league. - thinking IR replacement for Quick &/or Raanta

Some decent back ups/time share options, no starters. I do have Merzlikins in the minors, no other starters.

probably should have just asked this initially to save time... but what does your full roster look like? In other words - do you 'Need' Hoffman?

My forwards are pretty deep: Crosby, Bergeron, Wheeler, Giroux, P Kane, Backstrom, Kopitar, E Staal, Oshie, Toews, Hornqvist, Zacha

i actually like Quick for a bounce back...but Grubs is the main man in COL right now, but lets face it Quick wont be supplanted in LA either...

this is a tough call for me, but looking at your fwds and your G id make the swap..

I would reject. Not by much, but I would reject.

Grubauer is the man in net for a potential cup winning team (my opinion only). Grubauer is gonna take a massive step forward this season.

Not a fan of an aging goalie in Quick on an awful team. Hoffman is the key piece here on a lethal power play. But he’s also getting older and in the final year of his contract. Could be gone from Florida after this season and potentially loose some of his value.

Call me crazy but I want Quick here! A bad season from Quick vs a guy who had his highest totals games played last year at 37, with solid stats throughout his backup career.

A guy named Darling was being tossed around as the next coming with a similar output to Grubs. Jones and Mrazek have better long term track records but still had rough patches after their top seasons.

Give me the guy with the championships with a year removed from his better numbers.

I still remember when a lot of us gave up on Bob

If Kuemper is on the wire, or the other half of the Columbus or LA tandems, I'd make this deal. If not, it comes down to how much Hoffman helps over Zacha, and I suspect that's a good step forward.

Hoffman does provide nice goals, assists, and PPP but he's generally a weak all around player in multi-cat leagues. It sounds like your forwards are already pretty deep, so I would rather keep the superior goalie option. It's not like Quick sucks all of a sudden, but the Kings are full-on rebuilding and the team is kind of a mess.

I'd just stand pat with Grubauer.

Keep what you have. You are already strong a forward. Grubauer is the main guy in Colorado who could be one of the best teams this season. On the other hand Quicks playing behind one of the worst teams in the Conference.
