I’m not as sold on Nurse as a lot of other folks around here, but at this kind of price point it’s a slam dunk. The last few years of this contract are going to be zany value.

Given what we've seen of Girard, to get him locked up that long for that price seems like a big win for the Avs.

Turris still plays in Nsh.. but meh

Thats insane return when you look at it. Great job by Sakic here. And if I remember correctly Colorado had the best odds for the 1st overall in two drafts. They moved back to 4th spot both times. If not the bad luck(which is out of Jakic capability) they could've had Devils players - Hischier and Hughes.
