Default Cheap Dmen with Point Production

I'm compiling a list of dmen who will earn under $1.5 million in salary (not cap hit) next year, capable of scoring 30+ pts.

    Makar
    Bouchard
    Hughes
    Brannstrom
    Dahlin
    Heiskanen
    Chabot

    Sergachev
    Dunn
    Girard
    Hronek

    Toews
    Cholowski

BOLD - Already owned in my league. Cost to acquire would be too high.
RED FONT - Owned in my league, but might be available via trade.

    I'd add
Valimaki/Andersson -- one of them is going to step up this season.
    Sanheim

DeAngelo ** RFA contract pending - likely moves out of this bare minimum group - i expect a decent bridge deal.

    Joel Persson - wildcard bet.

Im also on board with Rasmus Andersson...he looked really good next to Gio last season. I know everyone says Valamaki has higher ceiling but there's just something very calming about Rasmus...

He's always been one of my favorite prospect dmen, going back to his days playing for the Swedish junior team.

    lol...no doubt about it...

unfortunately I only have $1.5 million in cap space available, so that's why I'm limiting the list to that amount

Devon Toews should be owned. He'll be QBing PP1 or 2 this season.
Really, really solid sleeper potential. I would snipe him.

    Don't sleep on Devon Toews.

He was the PP QB during the playoffs and has been productive there so far in his short stint in the NHL.

Toews was the guy the Isles turned to QB the PP1 in the playoffs, so there’s definitely some sneaky potential in his situation.

thanks...he is my #1 target, but as you can see from my list, I don't have many options! I doubt he will be available when I have my first pick, but cross my fingers.

I like those names, but Sanheim makes too much to be included.
Toews, Dermott, Fabbro are worth adding too.

1 year x $925k but I think he’s pretty well behind Green and Hronek for PP minutes.
