I traded Mackinnon for Malkin, Laine and Heiskannen.

Thoughts?

This would be an ok return in season I feel. But before keepers are declared this feels like a significant loss. In a 12 team keep 8, malkin is a good keeper, laine is average but heiskanen is not a keeper worthy player.

Who would you have been keeping instead of Laine and Heiskanen before?

Already decided my keepers before the trade of course. Instead of Laine I’d be keeping Marchessault and my last keeper was between Edler or Matt Murray who’s been completely unreliable. I have no d keepers. So I’m pretty happy to have Heiskannen. And Laine to me in a pretty big upgrade on March going forward. In season meh. I’ll make moves like this off season rather than in season for sure. I’m not watching Mack put up 5 ppg right now. But I feel like my lineup is going to be a ton more balanced now and I’ll push for winning my league. Getting second twice has been frustrating llol so I gottA go for it right? I’m extremely happy with my keepers and Laine + Heiskannen to me feels better than March and edler/Murray. Goalies are wildcards outside of Vasi. I figure I can get goalie points in the draft. Not a lot of goalies are kept
