Hey all, we are making third jerseys for our beer league hockey team called the Outlaws. The team has agreed to have western style movie nicknames on the jerseys instead of our last names as it is in the standard jerseys. Some of the names taken by the players already:

Top off my hat and rather fokusing on the sound of the name than the person that it was: Bill Doolin, Jesse James (one of the more obvious choices), Black Jack Ketchum or some native name - I personally like the ring of Geronimo or Tatanka Yotanka (= Sitting Bull)
But actually there's just one name you can really choose: Deadwood Dick (yes, that guy did exist, won about every cowboy contest there was)
PS: I apologize if some of these suggestions are historically inappropriate or something. Being from Switzerland I don't exactly know how these names are perceived in America today. I know them from stories and not from history lessons...

Funny, my friends and I played in a men's league in the late-90's and rocked the yellow Sweden jerseys. We all added "STROM" to the ends of our names or nicknames. It was a blast--always broke the ice with the other teams.
