    Default Keeper Forwards rank

    Hi,

I have a short list of a few forwards to pick in a keeper league (points only) and some of them are scaring the crap out of me for not reproducing the same totals next year. Here's my list and lmk what u think For this range of players I will most probably give that players 4 to 5 years contract in my keeper league.

    1-Zibanejad
    2-Hertl
    3-O'Reilly
    4-Bergeron
    5-Kessel
    6-Lindholm
    7-Voracek
    8-Hoffman
    9-Johanson

Assuming they're just F, and there's no positional difference, points-only:

    Bergeron
    ...
    Kessel
    Zibanejad
    Hertl
    ROR
    Lindholm
    Voracek
    Hoffman
    Johansen

I think Bergeron is a clear tier ahead of the others on this list. His three-year averages are around a point-per-game, and the last couple seasons especially he's been closer to a 90-point pace or greater. He's coming off his two best ppg seasons ever, and three of the last four, so it seems like he's aging pretty well with Marchand and Pastrnak around. His underlying numbers are still incredibly elite, and I don't really see him dropping off a cliff anytime soon.

The rest of these guys strike me as 70 - 75-point players if everything plays out right. Hoffman and Johansen, less so than Kessel, Zibanejad, Hertl etc.

I like this list, but think Zibanejad is a bit high. I would have him closer to Hertl. Still, pretty accurate otherwise.

Thats pretty petty big range... but I'm thinking the same thing here. Is he for once gonna play a full season?! The health is a big factor indeed.
So we are not talking just for next year ranking but for 4 to 5 years range. It's difficult to predict taht but I gotta go with Zibanejad here. I like his potential for the next 4 years + his team situation. I like that guys like Panarin, Kakko and co will receive the puck from Ziba

Bergeron probably won't play a full season, but he's aging like a fine wine. You don't need a whole bottle of the stuff to get that nice buzzed feeling. He will suit up for like 65-70 games and get you 80+ points. Works for me.
