Default Recent trade in keeper. Rank 1-3

Hey guys we recently had a huge 3 way trade go down in our keeper league. Would love to hear what everyone thinks on the deal. How would you rank the winners 1-3.

    Team A gets
4th overall pick . (Prospects and non keepers players)
    3rd rounder
    7th rounder

    Team B gets
    Point
    11th rounder
    11th rounder

    Team C gets
    Tavares
2nd overall pick (Prospects and non keepers players)
    11th rounder

    12 team 6 keepers
    (G) 3 (A) 2 (+/-) 0.5 (PIM) 0.5 (PPP) 1 (SHG) 1 (GWG) 2
    (Shots) 0.1 (W) 3 (GA) -1 (SV) 0.2 (SHO) 5

    What is a "2nd overall 1st pick"?

And generally I find it's difficult to evaluate this on such little info. For example, looking at Team A. I presume they traded either Point or Tavares for pick upgrades. But what we don't know is the quality of their 6 keepers. If they were going to drop one of those guys (or someone of similar quality), then the trade makes perfect sense...

In a vacuum, if I just had to pick out of that bunch above I'd go 3, 2, 1.

Team A dis quite well to add those two picks by moving down two spots
In a keep 6 there will be nice players available.

    I would say 3,1,2

Team C easily wins this one in my opinion. What the hell is the upside to this deal for Team A? Sure, moving down two spots to add a couple picks sounds nice except you're moving down out of the ELITE tier of the draft, losing a drastic amount of top end value just to add a couple mid-round picks? That's crazy talk, especially in a limited keeper like this. Team C, with B's help to facilitate, just fleeced A out of a high end asset for some depth pieces.

I dont know why team A would trade down like that. Team C wins by a landslide and pulled off the deal of the year in fantasy leagues around the world aka Point for Tavares and Kakko/Hughes

Just looking at it this would be a clear win for team C. They got the highest pick and arguably got the best player.

Maybe some context would help give the other teams some credit. Who were the other keepers? Who traded what here?

Team C gets Tavares & Kakko...

    Team A gets Byram/Turcotte or a Tier 2 forward?

Least Team B got Point - which cancels losing Tavares

C is the winner. Tavares for Point is lateral & he adds one of the studs from the draft

B can swallow this deal - still ended up with Point. Basically just gave 4th overall away.

A meh... gave up one of the elite prospects for the 76th best player in the NHL -- odds are with 72 players kept. GM goes player vs. prospect.

Team C must have orchestrated this deal. The only one that clearly comes out ahead.

The only way I can make sense of team A is if, for example, his keepers are something like: McDavid, Mackinnon, Matthews, Kucherov, Rantanen and Draisaitl or something crazy like that. If you have an insane top 6, I could see why the 2nd overall pick wouldn't as valuable (not anticipating Kakko to crack your keepers next year). Also very hard to trade for an upgrade. So moving 2nd overall for picks, trying to win now, make sense. Although I have no idea why they'd want 4th overall (won't be keeper).

I just find the OP overly vague; either it was just a really bad trade … or there is some important context missing.

I'd be curious to see what the keepers are of each team after this trade. That might explain it...

This still assumes that those picks in the 3rd and 7th rounds would be greater value for Team A than Kaapo Kakko this year, and I don't think that's correct. Looks like it's just a bad trade to me.
