    Default Zadorov

Multicat salary keeper league in signature.

Is Zadorov worth his 3.2m cap hit? He gets Hits/PIM. Does he have any offensive upside with Barrie gone? I am guessing no with Girard/Makar/Byram. Thus, I am leaning that there are cheaper/better options for Hits and PIM if no offensive upside.

How about Borowiecki? 1.2m cap hit

Averages 4-5 hits per game, four years in a row

Hagg, Mayfield, Polak, Cernak all offer pretty decent periphs for half the salary. 3/4 offer better point totals than Zadorov as well

My only concern with Boroweicki is over the last 5 years he's only played 70+ games once.
Mind you a #6 fantasy Dman - you can replace those periphs relativel easy

What you see is what you get with Zadorov. I don't believe in his offense.

I've never played in a cap league, so you have to do the calculations without my help.

Just consider that Cole is out long term and Zadorov is the third highest payed D on the Avs now which means that he'll probably at least start the season with significant more ice time.

Makar is a righty and therefore rather a good complimentary guy to Zadorov than a road block. I don't expect much PP time for Zadorov, but he could get 30ish pts simply because he's on the ice with a high octane offense more often and maybe with Makar as his partner.

This and his peripherals could make his cap hit worth it in multi cat leagues imo.

Not to hijack the thread, last angry was in July, but in a cap league, I have an opportunity to move Skjei and his $5.25 cap hit for Zadorov and his $3.2.

I’ve compared these two extensively and while I think I like Skjei better, I’m like the Leafs up against the cap.

Thought on making this move or the Skjei compare and future to Zadorov?

you lose all offensive upside of Skjei...

would someone like Alex Martinez be available. he was so bad at 4m last year he may have been dropped.
Or Ceci, who could see 30pts at 4m this year

Negative. All taken. Super deep league. Have essentially no cap left but a pretty good squad. Trying to make a minor adjustment on D to create a couple million in cap space.

I’m shying away. Try to manage from within.
