I really like the kid. I decided to keep him over Forsberg. I could see 30 goals this year and I see 40 goal seasons in his future.

I'm not so sure the breakout is coming this season, but I fully expect him to be one of the best players in the league for multi-cat fantasy leagues within a couple years. Like 40-40 with big SOG and Hits totals. He led the league in individual xG last season as an 18-year old rookie in secondary minutes. That's insane. He is going to be incredible for a looooooong time.

So a rich man's Josh Anderson (some more goals, fewer hits)? Josh is a sneaky beast

Yeah, thats about right. If Anderson continues to play with Dubois on the top line like he did later last season, he has a sneaky upside. He can get more power play time now that guys like Dzengel, Duchene and Panarin are no longer in the team. If that happens, I expect around 31-35 goals from him. He has the potential for sure.

Not the worst comparable, although Svechnikov just has that elite play-driving ability. In terms of generating expected goals, he's already a monster. Anderson appears more well-rounded, while Svechnikov seems like the more sustainably good PP performer. Small sample size, but Svechnikov sure looks good.

Great prediction, I feel like Svechnikov is someone I can take late in my h2h multi-cat league.

    Thanks.
Just to be clear, I think Anderson is more like a 26-30 goals player for the next season. Just everything for him has to go right to reach that potential and score around 35.

29 goals or so with maybe 250 shots and 200 hits is crazy valuable in a banger league

What this guy is doing at 20 years old is incredible. if only Rod would stick him with Aho and Teuvo all the time instead of this bs 'balancing' by putting him (or Teuvo) with Staal and Foegele haha.

I acquired him in a limited keeper where points and SOGs are most important. I am excited for this guy's future.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.
