Do you think he will crack the top 6 in D next year points wise or will he still have a couple years to climb the ladder of top 6 as a sophomore slump could be headed his way..

No, I don't think he'll crack top 10 either, for that matter. Buffalo doesn't have the horses at F, IMO....and D's take awhile...

I can't see a sophmore slump but I also don't think he'll be top 6 D. I think 55+ points.

All depends on how he's used, period.

If Ristolainen or Montour gobble up more PP1 time--he'll end up maxing out at 50.

If he is a PP1 staple (like he should be) he will score 56-61 points.

Either way, it's hard to predict the Top-6 D each year, as there's so many capable of being in the mix...

Burns, Carlson, Karlsson, Barrie, Rielly, Giordano, Subban, Chabot, Hedman, Jones, Klingberg, etc.

Dahlin is one of the best teenagers I've ever seen come into the NHL. I'd be surprised if he didn't crack 50 points, regardless of what the PP1 deployment shakes out like with Buffalo's other D. I think Fungchen's estimates are pretty reasonable. This kid is really special.
