Choose 3 from these 5 forwards

For the points-only league in my signature, which 3 forwards are you keeping and what are your projections for them next season?
I'm trying to retool on the fly as my core is still strong but aging pretty fast. I want to make another run or two before rebuilding.

I'd go with Ehlers, Trocheck, and Drouin, each coming in around 60 points. Trocheck is the only one who stands out to me, as his worst case is 55-60, with the opportunity for 70s if he gets back firmly onto Florida's PP1. If Ehlers gets dealt to a team who will use him more than Winnipeg, he might also get up to 70. Athanasiou's 50-55 seems like his reasonable ceiling at the moment. Schmaltz is unknown, depends on his deployment. There's an argument for him to exceed 60 if he gets to center Kessel and gets PP1 time, which is entirely possible. Montreal will probably give Drouin every opportunity to be a scorer. If you're looking to make a run, I'd go with Drouin. If you want to be more risky, I'd go Schmaltz.

I think Trocheck and Ehlers should be locks from this group. So you are left with one of Drouin, Schmaltz or Athanasiou and I don’t think you’ll see a big difference in production between the three of them. I think I’d take the gamble on Schmaltz being Arizona’s new first line centre with Kessel on his wing.

Trochek is my only lock. I really think Ehlers isn't going to hit that next production gear, but he still may be better than the bottom two out of this list. He also may have more trade value.

Ehlers and Trocheck are almost locks in my mind, but I'm surprised AA doesn't get more love.
He was very very good in the second half last year with an expanded role.

Keep them rankings + projections coming folks.

I had to take another look at AA. He's been trending up for sure. Never had a full 82 game season though. 0.7ppg with 16 minutes last year. Looks like he earned an extra PP shift per game as well. Hmmm.

I still think Schmaltz and Trocheck will be the top of this list and the other 3 are interchangeable. Drouin and Ehlers still have more potential than AA for a big season imo but its closer than I initially thought.
