    Default Monahan/Klingberg for SJones/Stone

Full Keeper- Stats are: G, A, Blks, Hits, (FOW-C) (PIM) -1 value, SOG (FO%-C) (TS%)

I gave up Monahan/Klingberg and received Seth Jones/Mark Stone

The league has an 82-game positional limit and we start 4 C, 4 LW, 4 RW, 6D

By trading Monahan I move either Couture or Kopitar in the lineup who would have otherwise been on the bench as injury replacements. (My other centers are McDavid, Kuznetsov, and Zibanejad). By acquiring Stone, I bench Kapanen. So basically I gain Stone's value over Kapanen at the expense of Monahan's value over Couture/Kopitar. I feel that is a win. Seth Jones has a higher rating that Klingberg plus I am woeful in hits so Jones' extra hits will help me there. Pretty happy with the trade and feel it will improve my overall lineup. What do you think?

I like that deal a whole lot for you, especially considering your center depth. The downgrade from Monahan to Couture isn't that great, while the increases you get from Jones and Stone are really beneficial.

Trade sounds logical, based on your team needs.

It's hard to know from your post if C's are more valuable than wingers generally (I'm not exactly sure what TS% is as a stat).

And holy smokes - your prospect roster is absolutely loaded.

I like that deal for you. The Monahan for Stone swap works out great for you because you have depth at C. The other parts of the trade(the two Dmen) makes it even better by gaining some hits from Seth. Good job!

Pretty hard to argue with your logic. Nice upgrade on the wing without losing much of anything everywhere else.

Thanks. I have been rebuilding for the last two years. Forgot to include Shestyorkin in my prospects.
