10th OA pick (F from this years draft, not sure Byram drops that far)


Trade is with two different teams but that would be overall result. Comtois Im likely losing to drops anyway and would have to redraft. A couple years down the road Byram takes over for Letang, and Connor maybe in a better situation than Hischier. Thats my thoughts. Its very close though, and a bit risky. Not sure the overall reward is worth it. Ill rep who I can.

I would make this deal even if you weren't losing Comtois for nothing. But since that's the case, all the better to get some value out of him.

Personally I would draft Turcotte at 4th overall, his offensive upside is being seriously underrated. That said, you can't go wrong with either him or Byram.

Offset his point gain with your best lineup possible. That kind of thinking is how you end up not even finishing top 2 with the other guy, you end up 5th.

Comtois being a drop makes this trade a bit more appealing, I think I’d pull the trigger.
