Just drafted him in a dynasty league inaugural draft hoping for a breakout season. Happy to see the four-year commitment!

I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks of Compher?

He played nearly 18mins a game this past year and still only put up half a point per game. Is there more upside? Does Kadri help him get more offensive zone starts, or make him lose minutes?

His underlying metrics aren't great in terms of xG and Corsi impacts, but he's shown to be a pretty effective guy on the PP. I really have no idea what his deployment looks like this season, but judging from his minutes last season and Colorado's improved depth I wouldn't be surprised if he was able to improve his shot rates and offensive production. Over a three-year sample, he at least has positive Defensive xG impacts, and good PP numbers so I'm hopeful there's a player here in multi-cat leagues.

Four years x $3.5 mil could turn into a really nice contract for cap leagues if he shows there's another level offensively.

Decent deal for both ends, though I was expecting a bit of a shorter bridge for a little less.

If he's on PP1 or Colorado decides to split up the top line trio he could be at least a 50 point player. But he also could just as easily get the shaft in terms of deployment, in which case he'll probably be stalled at around 40, talent notwithstanding.

Is it just me or this deal screams middle six, bottom six or basically L3.... and a hope, though not an expectation for more? The player took the term and a decent but not overwhelming dollar and bucked the "bet on myself" trend.. Fine college player but I don't see much beyond line 2 upside.
