I would drop Rakell and keep both of Werenski and Rittich.
Next closest are Schenn, then Rakell, and then McAvoy/Pulock/Domi.
We keep 8 players in a Yahoo H2H league. The 7 I am leaning towards are in Bold - need help as many options:
C - MacKinnon(C), Schenn (C/LW), Thornton (C)
LW - Meier (LW/RW), Hall (LW), Domi (C/LW), Coleman (C/LW/RW)
RW - Rantanen (RW), Rakell (C/LW/RW), Nyquist (LW/RW)
D - Hamilton, Provorov, Werenski, McAvoy, Pullock,
G - Rittich, Smith
Should I keep McAvoy or Rittich as my 8th or should I consider keeping other D?

I wouldn't drop Rakell. My 8th would be Werenski or Domi. Rittich idk.. what goalies will be available in the draft?
Devils & Predators fan
Rakell has paced for over 60 points once in five seasons of over 65 games. Add to that the fact Anaheim is going to be a non-playoff team again this year, and I just don't see them scoring enough to prop him up to anything higher. He's much more easily redrafted than someone like Werenski.
However, on a second look at the goalie categories, value drafting whoever is left among guys like Rittich, Varlamov, Jones, Dubnyk, etc, may be better for you if you keep someone like Rakell, Domi, or Pulock instead (yes I'm also changing my order so all three of them are above McAvoy).

Maybe I'm the only one here who thinks this, but I might even consider Werenski > Provorov, and then Rittich as you're 7th. I'm not big on Provorov in the fantasy world. I think he is (or will be) one of those better in real life than fantasy players. He's too all-around and too good defensively to score big points.

MacKinnon, Rantanen, Hall, Meier, Domi, Hamilton, Provorov, Werenski.
You've got a nice balance here with 1C, 2LW, 2RW and 3D. I could also see arguments for Rakell, Schenn, or Rittich instead of Provorov. With only 4D starters, there's not a huge emphasis on keeping a bunch of Dmen, but if you're really high on Provorov's multi-cat upside (despite the lack of PP time) then I could see keeping him around instead of another multi-cat winger or a tier 2/3 goalie.

Thanks for all the input, insights and thoughts - leaning towards Werenski and also not keeping Rakell. Will also put Rakell, Werenski, Provorov, Domi, Schenn and Rittich on my trading block to see what comes back...
