I'm higher on Labanc and lower on Dubois than most. What are you guys seeing, I'm just curious about where I might be off at.

If Labanc isn't regularly on PP1, then I have a tough time seeing him over 65. So taking the under on that, and shaving off a couple more to make it realistic, I got in the high 50s. If he is on PP1 then 65 would make some sense for a guess at this point.

As for Dubois, he's a very solid producer, and wasn't solely a benefactor from playing with Panarin. Having the full-season reins as the #1 C between Atkinson and either Nyquist or Anderson, means he could get 60 points almost by accident. So if he plays the full season, I like him for 65.

Those are legitimate points, I think maybe I'm inflating the significance of the CBJ departures a little more than is warranted. I do think their lack of depth is going to mean tougher matchups for that top line though, but I suppose they still have some time to come up with some solutions to that. I see Labanc as the defacto heir apparent to the RW 1 spot in SJ though, PP1 seems like a no-brainer to me.

I see the 1st PP unit in San Jose including Kane, Meier, Couture, Hertl, and Burns. I don't think Labanc is on the 1st unit. Could be wrong, though.
