What do you guys believe we can expect for DeAngelo?

I guess with Trouba in NY now, he looses the chances of running the PP.

Realistic point potential this season and the couple of following?

    Thanks!

Max 30 points I'd say. Trouba is the main guy now and Shattenkirk is still there. Too many hurdles in the way.

I am going to disagree with the comments so far and say he'll get 40+. Trouba has never been a true PP guy and Shattenkirk is declining. DeAngelo has as good a chance to be on PP1 as any of the other dmen.
DeAngelo got 30 points in 61 games last year without regular top PP time so he definitely has the offensive skills to go 40+ over 80 games.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

I like DeAngelo for about 30 with some upside. I agree that Trouba isn't exactly a true PP1 quarterback, as even last season his his xG and CF impacts with the man advantage were average at best. He overperformed in terms of GF, but I'm not sure that's sustainable looking at the underlying impacts. I'd guess DeAngelo and Fox, both, will get some looks with that PP1 unit over the course of the season, so there is definitely some upside still with DeAngelo.

I like DeAngelo for 40 points this year.

I think he has matured as a player and I consider him to be the Ghost and Trouba to be the Provorov.

This I definitely don't agree with. He's not a star but he's definitely established as a capable NHLer. He's come a long way.

    30-35 pts, no more.

Trouba, Shattenkirk, Fox, and DeAngelo will all get looks on the PP. I don't know if anyone is going to be put on the top unit consistently.

Isn't Tony Deangelo situation the same as Butchers in New Jersey? I mean both are powerplay specialists that rely on in. Their seasons just depends of the PP usage over the course of the year.

as said it is all about usage but PP1 seems too crowded now though I would like him to have his chance as he is a great offensive mind, right handed, and shoots first. One of the best if not the best all around skater on the team and the points were there when he played. PP1 is gonna be Mika, Panarin, Buchnevich (sinister one timer), Kreider (while still in NY), and Trouba. Shatt-en-dirt is an unknown, I want him to have another go at PP1 duty but idk if Quinn will grant it. I think he just never was able to get it rolling with injuries and he needs to go back to his shooting oriented mentality he possessed in St. Louis because he has an absolute bomb from the point.
