I've said it to a few friends lately. It wont surprise me one bit to see Puljujarvi sign a 1 year deal and be ready for camp and the regular season in Edmonton.

Agree. No way that Holland will fire sale him and it’s doubtful that someone will offer decent value. Hopefully for his sake the new regime will let him crush the AHL for a full season.

I'd be fine with Puljujarvi playing in Europe for a year. He could boost his own trade value or eventually provide the Oilers with some much-needed secondary scoring. Nothing to lose since he wasn't providing anything previously.

I believe Puljujarvi would need to clear waivers to be sent to the AHL so that is not an option. Given this, in many respects Puljujarvi signing a one year deal to play in Europe could be a good thing for the Oilers.

I had a difficult time picking between Nurse and Klefbom... can it be a double-down feature and do both of these guys and see who can establish themselves as the PP1 D-man? Or are both of these guys just a stop-gap until Bouchard gets the top PP spot?

I agree, but I think he plays in Edmonton.
