Kuz for Trocheck

For the league in my sig I've been offered Kuznetsov for Trocheck and a 1st. Trocheck averaged 1.15 fpt/g while Kuznetsov averaged 1.36. In 2017-18 they both averaged 1.5 fpt/g.

Is the production worth a 1st and 3.05M increase in salary or should I look to counter?

In your sig, do you mean 0.5 for PIMs, SOG, hits and blocks and 0.1 for FOW? If so, I think giving up Tro plus a 1st is a little too rich for my liking. I would look to counter.

Just for info sake, where do you expect (roughly) to be picking with the 1st rounder?

With salary considerations, I'd probably value Trocheck just a little bit more than Kuznetsov. Trocheck is coming off a down year where he spent most of it injured. Give him the off-season to fully recover and I think he should be back to the multi-cat monster he was. Maybe a slight down tick in points (I'd put him down for 65 or so), but still should go back close to that 1.5fp/g

The .05 and .01 are correct. Weird I know, but it's what we came up with when we first started the league and it seems to be working as far as scoring and player valuation goes.

Last year I finished 8th in the regular season and lost in the first round so I drafted 17th. I imagine it will be in the same range, if not later if I don't get hit with the injury bug and Hellebuyck bounces back a bit.

I prefer Trochek and the 1st. I think there's a good chance Trochek out points Kuznetsov with your settings next season. They could easily exchange seasons outproducing each other slightly for the next few years. They'll remain close enough that I'm not adding a 1st.

That's much better, but I'd expect him to re-counter back. I prefer Trocheck straight up, so keep him.

So he's countered with Reinhart and 1st for Kuz. That seems like a no-brainer? I have room for the 4.15 increase in salary for this year. I feel like Reinhart will get a raise next year bringing him closer to Kuzy anyways. This past season was the first he reached over 1 fpt/g. Is this what we can expect from Reinhart moving forward, or does he have another gear?
