In a points only keeper league, who would you rather have long term and short term? I don't own either but it came up in a discussion with my brothers.
    Thanks, Dobber Nation.

I like Ehlers more than most but Svechnikov would be my choice here.

I'm lower on Ehlers than most, so it's definitely Svech

Agree with the above, I was high on Ehlers 2 years ago but my interest is waning. I'll take Svech as well.

I was going to create a thread about Svechnikov because he's come up as part of a lot of discussions around here lately and generally people seem high on him.

If everyone is ok with piggy-backing off of this thread, what are the point projections for Svechnikov next year?

And so as not to de-rail the thread and focus solely on Svech, what are your projections for Ehlers?

    I will start it off:

Next year for Ehlers, 53 pts
Next year for Svechnikov, 56 pts

    Long-term for Ehlers, 65 pts
    Long-term for Svechnikov, 75 pts

Am I close to the consensus? What say you...

I would be close to those numbers as well. I just think once Svech gets on PP1, his point upside is 15+ (maybe even 20+) points more than Ehlers.

Slightly off from what I would probably have, but similar ranges anyways, so it seems reasonable.

I say that you are the next Nostradamus, SeaDawg

To the main question: I prefer having Svechnikov short and long term.

I prefer Svechnikov because he is just a special talent, but I can't help but wonder what Ehlers would be like with consistent PP1 deployment. Svechnikov is likely the one who's going to get locked down on PP1, so that just adds to his upside in the comparison. I think this would end up being a completely different question if Ehlers was actually featured on his team.
