I think Kerfoot will have a more prominent role in Toronto that Svechnikov will in Detroit, assuming he is on the team full time. Honestly, I could see Svechnikov not ever becoming a full-time NHLer and end up in the KHL.
Multi cat salary keeper league in signature. Been offered a trade of THEIR Kerfoot for MY Evgeny Svechnikov. Opinions?

I'll take Kerfoot here. He's got a good FO% for his career, actually, and he should be a pretty decent secondary contributor. He could end up on one of the top-six wings early with Hyman on the shelf, so he should retain that wing eligibility even if he mostly plays 3C.

I'm not ready to write off Svechnikov yet but it's hard not to say Kerfoot while hes performs in the NHL compared to Svechnikov who's still learning in the AHL.

Kerfoot for me for sure. I have Svechnikov in my minors but we only have 5 slots. I'm using 4 already and drafting Hughes, so if I need space to draft another rookie I'll drop Svech for sure.
