Been approached by the Marchand owner on a 1-1 for my P. Kane. I was hesitant but now am tempted to because of PIMS but cant decide. Is this a coin flip because they're both so highly ranked assets? Positional need doesn't really factor in here as the other wingers on both sides are really high end.

I prefer Marchand with your categories, as he's basically tailor-made for your league, but I think I would still expect a little extra + just because you're dealing the bigger name with the better scoring pedigree. Marchand is a few months older too ... if that matters.

Definitely Brad Marchand! He gives you the edge in +/- and GWG and PIM while Kane maybe only outproduces in assists.

I honestly don't see a reason to make the deal if that's close. Unless the other GM really wants Kane and you're getting something extra for it.

It's close enough for me that if he approached you I'd only do it with a sweetener. If it was a new draft I'd draft Marchand before Kane for next year but it's close so I'd need to feel like I win the trade.

I'd take Kane. Several years younger, the better player for point production and related cats, and you can always find peripheral stats like PIM elsewhere if need be. Close though.

Gimme Kane for a couple reasons: 1) I think Bergeron is slowing down which will affect Marchand's points. 2) Kane's game will age better than Marchand. 3) With Colliton at the helm in Chicago, the Hawks have placed more emphasis on offense. 4) Kane is my favorite player to watch. 5) Marchand is a bag and I don't want him on my team.
