This is a lot like the JT Miller trade. Right guy to target as a buy-low, yet they overpaid big time. This should have been done for just the 3rd.

Agree on the over payment, but fantasy wise he'll slide in nicely to their top 6 depending on how UFA crazy COL goes.
Who knows a new team and new line mates may be all it takes.

I hope they didn't give up those assets just to dump him on their 3rd line - there's cheaper ways to stock your bottom 6.
Bura is sneaky good based on this fancy stats - he just never had a real chance to be an offensive contributor in Washington.

Maybe in 2007 NHL. Not true in 2019 where teams have scorers on their 3rd and 4th lines.
