    Default who would be better to draft...HUGHES KAAPO

    fantasy wise. who are people thinking here? short term, long term...points...multicat etc

    I go Hughes for points and pick-up the multi-cat elsewhere.

    I think Kakko is going to be a stud, but Hughes has the higher long-term upside--he's tailor made for today's game.

    Agreed. I had the #1 pick in my multi-cat league and I went with Hughes because of his higher ceiling. Plus, I just wanted Hughes over Kakko.

    I really like Kakko and think he is going to be the better player long-term. That said, the supporting staff in New Jersey is a little deeper right now, so Hughes will have more help in the short-term and likely put up better numbers in the short-term.

    If your league places additional value on goals and favors wingers over centers, then I would absolutely draft Kakko. In most C,LW,RW leagues, I can tell you I'd rather own a goal-heavy 80 point LW,RW than a 90-point playmaking C. They're both going to be studs, but which is better likely depends on the type of league you are in.
