Re: Draft Question: Krebs vs Newhook vs Kaliyev
Krebs and Newhook. Newhook and Krebs. Two players on whom I've been going back and forth for the past couple months it seems like. Honestly, at this point given their relative destinations (Colorado and Vegas) I think I'd give the *slight* edge to Newhook, despite having Krebs ranked just ahead of him for most of the year. But they're very close. I could see Krebs playing LW in the NHL earlier than many expect, but Newhook could now develop into a prime 2C behind MacKinnon with the bevy of talented defensemen feeding the transition game. Krebs may have the edge in the multi-cat game, but I think Newhook's skating is going to make him a really effective scorer.
Newhook, then Krebs, then Kaliyev for me.
