Maybe his stock has gone up somewhat because he's closer to playing full-time but he's still the #4 offensive D in the pecking order. I don't see huge upside in Niku anyway.

Just wondering how high Niku's stock has risen now that Trouba is out of the picture. Also, what kind of player would you compare him to in a few years?

Buff & Morrissey block him from legit PP time at the moment. He'd really need to blow the lights of them - ala Dunn/Ghost to push the issue.
I like his upside... it's just not going to be easy for him to achieve it in Wpg.

When Buff goes down Niku's value should spike into useful territory.
^Agree, Niku's upside is tied towards whether Buff stays healthy.
Also - Morrissey will play big minutes... and sometimes you gotta give those guys a break and go with a 3rd pairing guy that is fresh, mentally.
