Gost/Landeskog/6th RD pick for Pulock/Hischier/2nd RD pick

I've been offered a trade in a Keeper league, no cap. Pts system in signature.

Gost, Landeskog and my 6th round (61st) for Pulock, Hischier and a 2nd round (14th overall)

I just traded for Trouba, so I think I can spare Gost (top 5 D pts count) and I feel I could part with Land as well. I finished 3rd last year and am still in compete mode.
Now I don't have to trade these 2 piece but if I do, I think I can get a high 1st round pick for each, not just a 2nd rounder.
The other GM feels this is a fair trade. I see Gost as much more established than Pulock and Pulock seemed to lose ice time near the end of the season. Land is also going to produce more than Hischier I think.

Am I smoking something for thinking that or even for contemplating trading them because of my position?

if you're in compete mode. I pass. In a couple years - you win this deal. but you set yourself back THIS season. Pulock/Hischier could make this real close.. but I'd bet on Ghost getting back over 50 before Pulock sees it for the 1st time. same with Landy over 70 vs. Hischier.

I def. wouldn't move either for a 1st if you want to compete this year - that's a rebuild move

Thanks man. Agree, needed that second opinion. One reason was I don’t have a pick until 6th Rd and wanted to move up but yeah I agree.

You should ask for a first round pick instead and see if you can flip that first round pick to a rebuilder in your league and get a high producing veteran guy or someone in there prime so that in the end the deal is a lot more favourable for you. For example it becomes hischier pulock and a high producing veteran guy in their prime for ghost and landeskog.

I would keep with what you have. Landeskog looks like a fantasy beast beside MacKinnon and Ghost is coming off a down year and there is a good chance he will bounce back to an elite fantasy D man next year.
