Should be first league in sig.
My gadreau and panarin for his Point Theodore larkin and debrincat.
Does this seem like a fair trade. I think theo would help my defence and the trade help fill out my roster. Is this a trade where quantity still is equal to quality?
Thanks in advance

I'd do that deal.
This is a deal where the quantity side is quality itself. Your league slightly favors goals, and there are only 2 guys who've scored 40 in the NHL in this deal. Yet, they are both on the "quantity" side. Point is a really good player, and outpointed Panarin, but not Gaudreau this year. Debrincat looked great in his first full year. You have Reinhart, who is eminently droppable compared with Larkin, who you are getting.
So it's Theodore for essentially free, plus whatever you can get from dealing Reinhart & whomever else you need to drop if anyone.

Reinhart is gone for a pick so hes out of the way and I actually don't need a drop

Full keeper = no drops? Done deal. Only issue is you are likely diluting points/starter.
Also is the other GM considered competition? If he gets Gaudreau, your Monahan is essentially neutralized. Before you had both, so you would net full points on that duo.
I'm realizing over the years that this is a big factor. Having players that are complementary to your competition keeps them closer to you in the standings. If you can't corner the market on as many players from a high scoring team as possible, this is the next best thing.
Well it has turned into him realizing what the deal means for him. I offered to bump up panarin to huberdeau so we will see if he changes his mind. Would I be crazy to say add huberdeau to my original offer and ask for an added piece like hischier or keller?
That's the danger with not taking a great offer right away. I think the Huberdeau swap in is fine, as they're pretty similar.

It wasn't my deal to accept. He asked about shedding players so I tried to make a seemingly fair offer while keeping me competetive but still won the deal
Not surprised the offer was taken off the table.
Yeah my next proposal was going to be draisaitl huberdeau monohan and try to get point debrincat Theodore larkin and something like hischier but I feel it's the same situation where it's still unfair
