Its hard to tell you who to draft without knowing who goes 1-4. To me there's only two sure things. After that, who knows how it will go.

My next three would probably be Turcotte, Caufield and then Zegras.

Hughes > Kakko > Turcotte > Zegras > Caufield for points-only imo. Zegras probably has more raw upside than Turcotte, but I have more faith in Turcotte to actually realize his upside and in a shorter term. If there was any kind of weighting and/or separate category for goals, Caufield would move ahead of Zegras (maybe even Turcotte).

I think folks are really underrating Turcotte's pure upside, when he actually produced at the second highest rate among USNTDP players by a pretty good margin. He's the real deal.

Turcotte is on another level compared to these guys, not just because of his all-around game but I'm talking in terms of offensive production. In 16 USHL games, Turcotte was over 2 points-per-game, and was producing nearly 1.7 points per game during the rest of the USDP schedule. The only guy with higher rate production was Hughes, and it wasn't actually a blowout. This dude didn't even really play with Hughes and still managed to put up pretty comparable numbers, way better rates than anyone else on the NTDP.

He's absolutely an A-level prospect, would surprise me if he didn't end up a top-line forward whereas the other guys have more question marks. This guy is a stud for sure.
