Maatta is only 24 but he seems like he has more miles on the tires than that. Injury concerns probably played a part in Pittsburgh's thinking here. I agree with Eric that Kahun could end up being a player in Pittsburgh.
I don't hate the deal but it's not as big a deal as many may think. A lot depends on how Maatta goes from here, health wise.
