7-8 for McAvoy as a minimum imo
Vas could be offset by a ‘home town’ discount and wanting to keep the band together but still think minimum will be 7
What do you all think Vas and McAvoys next contracts look like?

Experience is the teacher of all things.
I think that's extremely high for McAvoy. I think he gets a similar bridge to what Nurse got. So maybe 2-3yrs at $3.5M. there's just no good comparable to give him more than $6.5, let alone $8M.
Vas I could see getting $8-$9M. Similar contracts to Stamkos and Hedman. He is just as important to that team.

I agree with the bridge deal for McAvoy. Thinking 4m here for 2 to 3 years. If they opt to go long term, I could see a Lindell/Theodore type contract, but a bit more expensive at around 5.5-6m aav.
I think Vasi gets 7-8m if he stays in Columbus. Elsewhere, he commands in the 9m range.
#Moose planning ahead....

I'm not sure if the Bruins go bridge or not with McAvoy. If they go long term, I can see something close to 7M per year.
