    Default El Niņo!

Was this a flash in the pan from Niederreiter, or is he finally becoming something?

I'm leaning towards flash in the pan. Much will depend on if he still gets the 18-20 min of ice time next year. He almost vanished in the playoffs too. Not much useful in my comments, I'm also very interested to hear what others think as he is a bubble keeper for me.

It's mostly about deployment. We can see the difference between 14 minutes a game in minnesota with limited pp time vs 18 min a game in Carolina on pp1 playing with Aho.

If it's the latter 65 points is reasonable next season but I won't be banking on it. If it's the former you probably don't want him on your team. Not going to be a ton of room on Carolinas top line / PP for long.
    Set roster weekly in H2H (Mon to Sun) - 16 Teams - start 6F, 3D, and 1G per week - Keep 2

    Points: 2 G / 2 A / 1 PPG / 1 PPA / 1 Hat Trick / 1 SHG / 1 SHA / 1 GWG - 3 Goalie Win / 2 Goalie Loss in SO or OT / 5 goalie SO

    Forwards:
    C. McDavid, N. Kucherov, R. O'Reilly, J. Schwartz, J. Toews, J. Huberdeau, T. Toffoli, M. Granlund

    Defense:
    B. Burns, J. Klingberg, R. Josi, J. Slavin

    Goalie:
    J. Binnington

Being Swiss, I'm very biased and would have a hard time dropping Nino even if I agree that he isn't a very sure thing.

I am optimistic though: He isn't the flashiest offensive guy, but is one of the very best defensive/possesion wingers in the league. That's not the Swiss guy who says it, it's a fact from the stats geeks. So in real life, if you don't only care about the offensive side as in fantasy hockey, you'd want to play an asset like him as much as possible. This gives me hope that Nino will get a ton of ice time also in the future, even if he's not putting up sky high numbers. So my best guess is a point total somewhere in the 60ies.
