2/3 of Vladar, Kurashev, and Khovanov.

    Probably Vladar and Khovanov.

Juulsen & Lind for me. Juulsen won't amount to much offensively. Banger Dmen are dime a dozen on the wire.

Lind - super replaceable. He had what anyone would call a forgettable year in the AHL. He's 2-3yrs out at least. I don't trust Utica`s player development to produce top 6 impact players. They just don't/haven't -- I'd rather own Wellwood/Madden from the Canucks prospect pool - NCAA insulated from the disaster that is Utica.

I don't mind dropping Juulsen either if you prefer keeping one of the guys I mentioned, but I think it's too early to be bailing on Lind. Still some solid upside there.

I agree there's upside.. I just have zero faith in Van/Utica to develop him to reach that upside. The best F product they've produced in the last 10yrs is Baertchi and Goldobin. Living outwest I'm smothered in Canucks chatter... even the media is turning on Benning & the Comets.

Case in point - he announced he was going to Utica to do a complete autopsy of the AHL organization - after the disastrous developmental year of every meaningful prospect - Juolevi & Demko spared due to injury & not being forwards.

Two hours after landing in Utica he held a presser and said everything was fine. He was happy with the direction of team & development. Sigh. such a mixed bag for Canuck fans.

I wouldn't blame others for holding Lind... I like him as a player. I just see organizational red flags

Completely fair. I think he's a solid player though and there's only so much a team can do to mess him up. Talent wins out in the end

Thanks for the input! I like the Juulsen suggestion and went ahead and cut him. Will mull over the second cut a little more..

Lind and Honka would be my considerations at this point.

Honka is at least at the NHL level, where some of these other guys won't get (back) to.

I agree that Honka is at least NHL level and some of the others will never sniff it. In most format cases Honka is about to graduate from a prospect. After 87 NHL games I’d rather roster a possible than what Honka brings. Sure he could turn it around with a change of scenery, he is only 23 but I think bust is more probable than not. He’s made it very close to Derrik Pouliot territory imo. If there is some trade value there, it could be better than an out right drop of him or another.
