Buyout is a 1.3333mill hit for 2019-20 and 2020-21 season. Doesn't reaaalllyyy make sense to buy him out though. He's like their only vet/face of the franchise that isn't young. What his wife and him do in the community is a lot, so unless he wants to move, why would they buy him out. Just talked myself out of that idea.
I think Anderson plays the last year then retires into the sunset. I agree that he's kind of their face and steady presence for now.
Condon could be bought out, but maybe more likely he's demoted a-la Darling, and then mentors one of the two young guys in the AHL while the other gets starters reps in the ECHL or elsewhere.

If anyone gets bought out it's Condon.

I think this is the most likely scenario.

Andersons 38 though. 2.5 million for a guy who can split the starts ala reimer? Luongo is pretty badass. I scored Nilsson for free in an extremely deep league and statistically he exceeded my wildest expectations on a bare bones, re-building team. I think this guy was pretty underrated. Like this signing for the Sens and dont actually hate it as a fantasy owner. At least he's already shown he can put up reasonable numbers on this team.

I think it’s a testament to where they think their young guys are (or the exposure they want those guys to have). This is a sens team that will continue to struggle for the foreseeable so would much rather an Anderson and Nilsson combo for cannon fodder than anyone else

I expect him to sign in Ottawa, but was expecting 2 million or less, which is the point at which he wouldn't need to clear waivers to move freely up & down from my farm.

I think this moves the bar up slightly for goalie signings, because while he was legitimately pretty good in Ottawa, it's much bigger number than people would expect. Can we think of any significant goalie that's a FA other than Cam Ward (I'm stretching calling him significant, maybe) that should get less than this?

I suspect he may be Ottawa's main starter next year.
