Well the sweep streak is broken at least!

Brutal officiating as seems to be the case through a lot of these playoffs. If you feel that it favoured the Bruins, you need to take your hater glasses off. I have no problem admitting when I’m being biased, but this isn’t one of those cases. Brutal calls and non-calls against both teams.

Regardless... Bruins are up 1-0 and I’m a happy happy man

ya that mugging of Krug by Perron was a missed call as well as the elbow to the head of Backes by Binnington , Edmundson high sticked Backes which was called and you could make a case for a Backes embellish , regardless, a team has to find a way to win in spite of calls or non calls. You know what they say about excuses!

Bergy line seemed out of sync , passing was off , or just bad. Again the lower lines come up big , i thought MaJo was flying out there and created some good offense!

Blues just were not getting shots on goal after that 1st period. Bruins dominated the last 2 periods.

1 down , 3 to go and here we go , game 2!!

phew , tough loss , Bruins outhit , outshot and overall , outplayed! Both teams had chances to end it late in 3rd period. Gonna be tough going to St. Louis as Blues have the momentum , this series going 6 or 7!

Bruins top line needs to crank up their play , im not sure if someone is hampered with an injury but play is not up to par. just not able to cycle that puck in the offensive zone like they can.

I got no reason to gripe with Rask and his play overall these playoffs but i notice he gets beat up high a lot playing on his knees which he tends to do sliding post to post. 2 goals up high tonite , 1 he probably didn't have a chance on but i have noticed this past seasons and this one , i just think he plays better on his feet covering those upper corners. But hey thtas his style and who am i to bitch , lol

Good game for both teams. The top line for Boston is getting their chances, just aren't burying them. I am sure they will come.

STL definitely deserved to win that game, unlike the first game.

wasn't hard to predict Bergeron gettin on the scoring sheet after being shut out first 2 games.

knew Binnington was due for a stinker , last game despite the win he let in a couple of soft goals.

Perron out of control and undisciplined.
