I have 2 more drops to make before October so I'm not in an urgent situation but I'd like some opinions.
Unless something unreal happens Elliott is one of the 2. But I'm torn btwn Necas and Brann. My head tells me to keep Necas but my heart says Brann. I dont have a pick until 15th and there's been no real interest in either of them in trade discussions so either may be available for me at 15...

I think Brannstrom will have the better opportunity this year in terms of ice-time/deployment, but Necas has a higher floor and a similar ceiling.
So Brannstrom short term, and Necas long term would be my picks.

I'd go with Necas, also. Development time is usually quicker for a forward than it is for a D man but I am not too sure they'd be far off. Brannstrom may be a better option now but in the near future, I think Necas has more value in the end.

I'd want to keep Necas of the two, but is there a reason you aren't considering dealing a goalie? I suspect you could get a decent return for any one of them, and you have 2 starters, plus Lundqvist & Blackwood in a 10 team league.

He's just one of those guys that seems to me has the name value and not much else at this point for fantasy. With Dumba coming back I expect a drop off in points from him, and the forwards have definitely been downgraded. Add to that he'll be turning 35 next season, and he's definitely not speeding up.
Brannstrom, if he plays the full year, could even have more value next season.
Just an avenue worth considering anyways. If you won't drop Hank or Allen then Suter is the next weakest link after the prospects. So at least ask what the market is around the league.

Interesting. I was also looking at Lundqvist as the odd duck out. Have you even inquired as to his potential trade value to whoever holds Georgiev or Shesteryken (sp?)?
As for your original question, I'd hold Necas over Brannstrom. You already have Chabot...

Me bad. I misread the number of teams in your league (I thought it was 20, I now see it was 10). So yeah, I go back to Necas > Branstrom.
And since you are keeping Hank, I'd consider drafting Georgiev, or Shest….
