Im not sure anything beats the non pass interference call against New Orleans in this years playoffs though.

Wow, when the bookies are returning loser bets to gamblers, you just know the call must have been one of the worst ever.

If Jumbo can't win a cup on his own... this is as close as the NHL can provide to handing him one

To be fair to the Sharks, the refs missed the delay of game call on Perron, after which the score went from 3-1 Sharks to 4-3 Blues. And the Sharks did tie the game without the help of the refs. "Hockey Gods" is a thing.
The hand pass - yes it was a joke.
However as audiophile mentioned there was a missed call against the Blues that also altered the game. The Sharks have been lucky, yes. But they have also capitalized on the refs mistakes.
And no one can say the NHL is handing it to the Sharks. The two previous series, the missed calls occurred in Game 7. That means there was 6 games before that nothing happened to get fans whining about a conspiracy. Vegas was up 3-1 in the series.... If the NHL really wanted the Sharks to win, I don't think it would have let Vegas get up 3-1 or there would have been a lot more than ONE
call we are looking back on.
And the NHL is not in control of the puck on the ice and doesn't tell Pietrangelo to give up a short-handed breakaway to Couture, or tell Schwartz to hit the post on the open net last night.
I am ok with Joe not winning a cup. Not saying that he doesn't deserve it, but everyone can't win a cup. It does make it more special.

Thanks. Under a microscope there are several "missed calls" and bad calls every game and its hard to put a number on how much each one effects the final outcome. It's virtually impossible to say that Braun taking what looked to me like primary contact with the head by Blais (also wasn't called) doesn't throw off the focus of the rest of the team, as an example.
While more video review seems like one solution, I would be just as happy with going back to the days where we all just watched the game in real time like the refs do and had highlights in the evening. If there is need for review, the war room can sort that out prior to the next game. Simpler times.
Refs are trying to fix their miss from last game. Doing a good job of it.
Looked like Karlsson could barely skate when he went out there with less than a minute left.
