Canes looked good but undisciplined on some penalties. Rask again was solid , nice bonus on Kampfer getting a goal. Some good depth scoring again from MaJo and Wagner.

Refs got me thinking I'm watching soccer

Watching the Bruins this playoffs is like watching a Juventus game. They have the refs as their servants.

Way to go out on a limb; I'm taking the Bruins assuming they score more goals than Carolina in the majority of games this series.

I had to turn the remote over to my wife last night after watching first two periods of this game.

Got into it with my brother who is a Bruins fan today but it’s like talking to a wall. I don’t understand how blinded Bruins fans can be and not see that they are getting call after call almost all playoffs long. It’s one thing to be a fan and another to be a biased fan. Turn on the tv or radio, it’s literally every fan base that sees it except the Bruins. Same with neutrals and main stream media, unless you are donkey with the name Jack Edwards or Joe Haggerty. It is embarrassing as a fan of the sport.

This is nothing new... I have been saying this for the last few years. The only difference is that the last few years it has been the beloved Sidney Crosby and the Penguins, now this year it is Marchand and the Big Bad Bruins and the whole world is screaming about it.

I had to take a long moment to reflect and calm down after watching that fiasco last night. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Call after call against the Canes. And yet Chara mugs someone and the refs close their eyes. Over and over.

I have to admit, maybe my Bruins hatred is clouding my judgement. It's hard to stay objective. So I will refrain from posting again about this series.
I will instead read the objective opinions of people who feel nothing towards either of these teams.

Carolina in 7. Boston has great history, unfortunately Marchand ‘s antics are part of the present. His clipped arrogant one word answers in his on ice interview after beating Columbus was enough for me to back Don Cherry’s favourite Jerks.
