The flyers have hired Michel Therrien and Mike Yeo as assistant coaches.... with those two and Vigneault as the head coach, there is a fair bit of head-coaching experience there.

I hope they have a shared vision or at least understand who the boss is. Too many cooks could spoil the broth.

I have a personal connection to Yeo, so I'm always rooting for him. I'm very happy he got another job in the NHL.

I will say that in some regards Yeo's best work at the NHL coaching level was when he was an assistance coach with the Penguins. In that role, he was primarily responsible for the power play. I don't know if he will assume that role in Philly as well, but it makes sense to me that he does. Despite a load of talent, the power play really struggled in Philly this past season. Hopefully Yeo can help turn it around for next year.

If Therrien does any interviews you'll hear a bunch about "playing the right way" but I'm not sure he even knows what he's looking for. At least he can't throw the lines in a blender before every game.
