    Default RIP Jason Botchford

Not sure whether or not this goes into the Lounge or if it's okay here, but Jason Botchford passed away today at the age of 48. I always enjoyed reading his articles and appreciated his fun commentary.

    Sad news.

listened to him every day on TSN1040. One of the few guys that could talk over Pratt and get away with directly insulting him. Always had good points and could back himself up.

One of the few clear headed one's in Canucks media. Called it like he saw it.

He's truly going to be missed in these parts

Thanks for posting this. I was too lazy to look it up. Seriously scares me when guys younger than me die. Sad. RIP dude.

Ya, from what I know, he was a good guy. I remember once I sent him a PM about a couple Canuck players and his thoughts on them. It was for fantasy purposes, but I didn't tell him that. He replied right away with his thoughts and I thought that was pretty cool of him.

TSN1040 yesterday was pretty much entirely dedicated to him. Story after story.

One word every person used, and used repeatedly when talking about him was

    Passion.
