Hey welcome back! Hope everything is alright! And don't feel bad... we scraped together 10 managers and got it rolling. Missed out on it by 1 day... we did the draft last night. We waited as long as possible!
Thanks! Deep down I wasn't feeling like another league. So it did work out!

I know what you mean and I agree. But I think it's worth trying for.

Can't remember who said they had never done FAAB but basically....

    - you get an imaginary budget to spend on bids throughout the year (say $100)
    - players are locked from the start of their game time until say Tuesday night.
    - during that time (and mainly after the weekend full of games), you can make BLIND bids on any free agent.
    - On Wednesday morning, the bids are unveiled and free agents go to the highest bidder.
    - ie. if Team A bids $10 on Player X and Team B bids $9 on the same guy, Team A get him and now have $90 remaining for the year. Team B would still have his full $100

I just like it because everyone is busy and I hate when guys lose out because they can't watch every game every weekend.

I was really hoping we would get more interest in this idea!!

Man, I have the worst luck in fantasy football. Every major player I select every year gets injured.

After losing the first week by 0.3 points, I have now lost Roesthlisberger for the season, Brees for six weeks, and possibly my top two RBs (Conner and Wiiliams) for this week. And we're only two weeks in.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

    Ha, it's something.
Only trade in tier 1 so far is me trading DeSean Jackson to Axe for his #1 waiver priority which was used on Chris Thompson. I'm hurting for RB.

Oooofffff... I knew I was taking a risk on losing some weeks when picking Brown at the end of Round 2... but that's harsher than expected... now I lose Barkley for a few weeks to injury and there go my first 2 picks.

Oh yeah, and TY Hilton was my 4th rounder... must have pissed off the fantasy football gods I guess

Crap. Figured for sure I would make ground with a win this week. Need a huge night from the Steelers.

Ummm... pretty sure you've already won this week dude... might have something to do with 60+ points I left on the bench. I would have beaten every other team in the league other than 1 this week too. Of course, I had that work in my favour in week 1 so this is probably just the fantasy gods balancing things out

Just spent the #1 waiver on a guy who I believe was a FA last week. Ugh I need to pay more attention.
