This is my only draft. I only do two football pools now, this one and a keeper one, and I just found out last week my keeper league folded. So for a while, I thought this was going to as well, and I'd be stuck with zero pools.

Writer of the weekly Top 10 column.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.

    League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.

Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.

We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.

Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid

I know in tier 1, we usually get the draft order in advance. Do we plan on doing that for tier 2 as well?

If that is the norm than I am good with it. Does someone want to do that? Use fantasy pros? Or something of sort? I won’t be on a comp until tomorrow morning.

If you go to the post for tier 1 (found here at https://forums.dobbersports.com/show...ier-I-Season-9), you can see they did the draft order in the middle of August, so people can get a draft strategy in advance (especially if they have to autodraft). However, if it's too last minute, that's fine as well.

I thought Yahoo could do it, but not sure. If the majority are on board, I can do a mock draft list tonight using fantasypros or whatever can get the job done. If the majority don't want it, we can just wait until the draft starts.

I’m fine with just finding out when the draft room opens tomorrow. It’s just a league for fun imo. But I am good either way haha

Did we wind up with 10 teams? Nice!

I’m okay with predetermining draft order or just going in blind. It’s pretty short notice so doesn’t make a huge difference to me either way

Can anyone be convinced to turn this into a FAAB league? I have found it's the fairest way to do football fantasy. Gets rid of those season changing injuries that can ruin a team.

    Just a thought.

So I feel bad how I dropped it in this, but if anyone can give a quick rundown of what came of this? If another league was born I can cut the other out?

I would have been all for this if we brought this up before the draft and had nailed it down. I never like to make changed to a league after the draft. I know the free agency/waiver system shouldn't effect the draft.

If we get 100% support before the first game Thursday night... then I am okay changing it.

Hey welcome back! Hope everything is alright! And don't feel bad... we scraped together 10 managers and got it rolling. Missed out on it by 1 day... we did the draft last night. We waited as long as possible!
