I counted out the Avs before, and I shouldn't have, but I'm going to do it again because I'm human
I also do want to see Thornton win his cup.
This should be a great series to watch.

I don't know...why in hell are you asking me this?
Alright...Sharks in six, because I can't snap out of conventional thinking.
Yah I got San Jose in 6 as well do to logic. Dam logic...

Can't find any news on Pavelski. You guys are picking Sharks whether he plays or not? Thanks
SOME POOL RULES. Points only (G-1, A-1). One year Hybrid Pool. 3 round draft with balance of roster selected from any undrafted NHLer.. 19F 4 D 2 Rooks SALARIES AND POSITIONS DO NOT MATTER (other than being a F or D). Each manager gets 6 ADD/DROPS (TRADES) for the year...any player on roster can be TRADED for any unDrafted F/D/R from ANY NHL team. INJURY RULE "IR". A hurt player can be replaced by another F/D from HIS NHL team and this is NOT considered a trade.. Injured player can be put back on team any time.
Sharks in 5. After the Sharks/Knights game 7, it may be Joe Thornton's time to get a ring.
How did the Avs beat the Flames? Well the Avs first line was better than Calgarys first line. Both those teams lack depth at forward. San Jose has a tonne of depth at forward and they have some D men that can score as well. Making me not concerned if Pavelski misses games or not.
Neither team I would say has any true shut-down D-men... so this could be a high scoring series, where I think Colorado's first line can outscore San Jose in a game or two. I will vote San Jose in 6.

Yes, thank you! But he is injured and not a true shut-down D-man for playoffs and he missed a couple games in series. I am thinking a true shut-down D man should be playing the minutes that Burns is playing. Look at his ice-time in the last couple games compared to Burns or Karlsson.

Vlasic has had good years but this one has been rough for him. I think he's been dealing with injuries for a while.

MacK is so fun to watch and he'll do some more damage, but I went with SJ in 6 on this one. I think they're too deep up front.

Sharks in 5. I don't think the Avs have the depth to stick with San Jose. The x factor as always is goaltending which could swing things. Should be a fun series to watch.
As frustrating as it was watching E. Karlsson sit on my IR during the season, it certainly appears to have been the right decision for the sharks. I think this could finally be their year.

Toughest series to call in my books. I like Colorado to edge out the Sharks in 7 games though. Would love to see Jumbo Joe get a ring, but I just don't think it's meant to be. Maybe he can join his old buddy Marleau in Toronto next year and replace Kadri as the teams third line center for one final shot at a cup
Without me, it's only "aweso".
Sharks in 7.
