There are other players on Boston that influence the outcome of games beyond Marchand

Anyway there is a good series going on here , both teams playing well but the checking is tight and not much room for scoring chances and when there is we have solid goaltending from both teams. And oh yeah, Marchand made a questionable decision that has the hockey world in an uproar hohum , okaaaay then, so there is more hockey to be played and #63 may do another bad , bad thing , please be advised.

But he is as skilled as he is so he's not a Matt Cooke , I prefer to relate him to former Bruin Ken Linesman who could put up points but was also an agitator who walked the fine line. That fits Marchand better if your gonna compare past players!

Linesman and Verbeek I think are the best comparables from history.

Marchand is way better than those scrubs. More like a Messier, IMO.

Better for sure, but not in Messier territory. The truth lies somewhere in between! Man, I was a huge fan of Linseman, Verbeek and Messier. I was in heaven when Linseman came to the Oilers and played on a line with Messier and Glenn Anderson - the second line! lol Good times for this Oiler fan.

I really try to stay away from b*tching about bad calls so I’ll I will say is that it really should still be 2-0 right now

I’m curious if Pengwin7 is watching this game tonight? His man-crush Boone Jenner is playing unreal! The short-handed opportunities he has had are unbelievable!

agree on that , goal should have been disallowed. , i guess coach cannot challenge under the circumstances. That aside the Bruins PP has been brutal and they have had too many turnovers. This game has been really tough , some heavy hitting and dirty play going on , you can feel the intensity on the ice!! Someone needs to take down Jenner , knee on knee hit on Pasta. Andersen and Dubois really playing scrappy! Got to hand it to the Jackets , they are really bringing it but Bruins are hanging with them! This is Awesome! Love this shit!

Another great game with a fantastic finish and the Jackets making a strong push to get the game to O.T. Bottom line is Boston's top players stepped up tonite and were able to capitalize on their chances while the Jackets top guns could not! Rask was once again solid in net. This series wraps up Monday nite. It's a cold cruel world.

Hell of a game and a hell of a third period! Glad the Bruins pulled it off.

Man, that stat about the Bruins being 21-1 now when Marchand scores in a playoff game is just ridiculous.

Yes , Jenner has been a tough customer in this series and has gotten plenty of scoring chances , although his hands of stone have been a great help to the Bruins
