What I don't understand is how someone can even piece Tippett to Holland when he himself still hasn't accepted anything yet LOL!

It depends on the title Holland is given. Chiarelli was the GM and President of Hockey Operations (POHO). MacT's role (currently) is defined as Vice President of Hockey Operations. Technically, seeing as Chiarelli was POHO, MacT worked for Chiarelli. If Holland is awarded POHO, and given full autonomy as being described, then I'd say yes, he could fire MacT.

KLowe, I am not sure. Technically, Lowe isn't part of Hockey Operations anymore. He is a Vice-Chair as is Nicholson and also an Alternate Governer (Whatever that means. I assume it means he can sit in for Katz when needed). I really wonder how much KLowe is tinking with the Oilers in regards to hockey decisions.

I have to think that if Holland is coming in, he is not looking for tinkering from up above and will not be dictated on how he will run the team. If that is going to be an issue, I don't see him taking the job.

It's' hard to know how much influence a guy like Lowe has on the hockey operations and say on player movement. It's scary when you think about it.
