    Default Rank these keepers

Hey guys, just looking to get a consensus on my forward keepers in a league. I have 10 forwards that I'm trying to pare down to 6 keepers through trades so I don't lose these guys for nothing. I've got a good handle on most of my guys, but want to see how the community feels about some of the middle guys on my list. This could help me decide who to package based on perceived value Please rank these guys based on the following info:

    12 team H2H Yahoo league

Cats: G, A, PPP, SOG, FOW, Hits, Blocks

    Ryan O'Reilly - C
    Tyler Seguin - C
    Ryan Johnasen - C
    Brad Marchand - LW
    Jeff Skinner - LW
    Patrick Kane - RW
    Elias Lindholm - C/RW
    Without me, it's only "aweso".

    Kane/Marchand
    Seguin

    Lindholm/O'Reilly

    Skinner
    Johanson

*Lindholm a bit of a wild card. Need to see more before I bump him too high. likely edge O'Reilly due to age and position eligibility.

I think you should just blow up the whole team because you lost in the finals and they're not that great

That’s why I left Ovie and Kuch off the list. Figure I’ll just drop those bums

I was expecting you to offer those two to me for Eichel haha

If I'm you, I trade 2/3 of the centres, and keep 5 wingers, ideally trading Skinner too. That gives you one C, five wingers, and generally six solid forwards going into the draft and a lot of flexibility.

I hate to give advice without seeing whom else you are keeping. Ovechkin & Kucherov are mentioned elsewhere in this thread, but that only totals 9.

Flying at least half blind here, but will go with Ovechkin, Kucherov, Seguin, Kane, Marchand, and Lindholm.

Didn't think you'd bite given that you once turned down Mackinnon/Pasta for Eichel (and I think Lindholm)

Thanks for the input man. A lot will depend on who I can get in return. I'm bound to lose a guy or two for nothing in this league but going to try to maximize my assets anyway

Thanks for the input on the keepers. Is that the order you would put Seguin/Kane/Marchand/Lindholm in? How far below these guys do you rank O'Reilly?

I'm only allowed 6F keepers and I have 10 keeper worthy players. Ovie/Kuch are obiviously locks that I can't really upgrade on. I'm just asking for a ranking on the guys I listed so that I can get a consensus on what people think of those players to help me with trade offers I'm putting out there.

The only reason I didn't name all the players I'm considering is that a lot of my league mates are on here and I don't want to reveal my entire offseason gameplan while trade talks are ongoing.

Hmm, this league set up looks familiar.

    I’d go with:
    Kucherov
    Ovechkin
    Marchand (puke)
    Seguin
    Kane
    O’Rielly

You almost have to trade for picks considering you are already set on D and G too.

Yeah man, it's looking likely that will be the case. A lot of guys pretty much have their F keepers locked up, but still trying to get whatever I can rather than lose them for nothing. I mean, Pengwin will probably draft half my team with all those first round picks he has haha

Could always try to package two of them for a better keeper forward but that isn’t easy to do, especially in the offseason.

Agree with this also, well minus Johansen. I don't consider him in the same category as the other players. Easy drop for me. No way I keep a forward averaging less than 2 SOG/gm over the last six seasons.

Ovie/Kuch are clear keeps so their exclusion makes a lot of sense.

so 5/6 are easy choices - Ovie, Kuch, Marchand, Seguin, P. Kane

#6 comes down to ROR, Lindholm and to a lesser extent Skinner.

Often when two players are equal offensively the tie-break goes to the winger. But, with the inclusion of FOW. ROR is a must keep. He's an elite FO Centre. On par, or as close to as anyone else in the league, with Bergeron.

Due to his FO dominance & the fact he can give you 70+pts... ROR is #6
